I engage students in interactive activities and create a lively learning environment that captures their attention and keeps them interested. This can include games, songs, storytelling, and hands-on activities.
There is a focus on developing students listening and speaking skills by encouraging them to communicate in English. I provide ample opportunities for them to express themselves, ask questions, and engage in conversations.
I introduce age-appropriate vocabulary words and phrases, starting with simple and commonly used ones.
I gradually introduce basic grammar rules and help students form correct English sentences. This is done through simple sentence construction exercises and by modeling proper sentence structure during conversations and activities.
As students progress, reading and writing activities are incorporated into their English lessons. I introduce them to basic reading materials such as storybooks and encourage them to practice writing simple words and sentences.
A language-rich environment is created where English is consistently spoken and used. Students are encouraged to think and express themselves in English, both inside and outside the classroom.
I prioritise making English learning enjoyable and fun by incorporating various creative and interactive elements, such as arts and crafts, role-playing, and multimedia resources, to keep students engaged and motivated.
I regularly assess students progress to identify their strengths and areas that need improvement. I adjust my teaching methods and materials accordingly, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and support.
Parents are encouraged to actively participate in their child's English learning journey. I provide resources and suggestions for activities that can be done at home, fostering a collaborative approach to language development.
I create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes. Their achievements will be celebrated, no matter how small, to boost their confidence and motivation to learn.
