‼️Protecting Operator Cards from fraud.

A growing concern is candidates sharing images of their NPORS Operator Cards online. Although this is often done with good intent - and we love that operators are proud of their NPORS Card - once a card image is posted publicly it becomes accessible to anyone and may be misused.

To protect personal information and reduce the risk of fraud or identity misuse, we urge operators not to upload images of their NPORS Cards to social media or other public platforms.

Working in hot temperatures

With high temperatures across much of the country, employers must ensure workers are protected during hot weather.

The HSE has today issued a new 'Temperature in the workplace' guidance.

There's no law for maximum working temperature, or when it's too hot to work, because every workplace is different.

HSE's website has a practical step guide on temperature in the workplace. https://www.hse.gov.uk/temperature/employer/index.htm?utm_source=govdelivery&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=hse-guidance&utm_term=temperature-1&utm_content=temp-26-may-26

This includes guidance on:
• what the law says
• managing workplace temperature
• preventing heat stress
• protecting those working outdoors

Together with a workplace temperature checklist to help you carry out a basic risk assessment.

View the full range of guidance by visiting HSE's temperature webpages.
https://www.hse.gov.uk/temperature/index.htm?utm_source=govdelivery&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=hse-guidance&utm_term=temperature-3&utm_content=temp-26-may-26

Includes temperature in the workplace, workplace temperature checklist, thermal comfort.
