It’s crazy to think She is adapting her hand every tenth of a second to make one continual smooth transition of her hand muscles at just 14 weeks old. 😯

Creating a love of nature in babies and young children can start from pointing out the beautiful scenery already around you.

Start small in the beginning, if all you can manage throughout the week is a small amount of time to play with your baby on top of all the sleeping, winding and endless admin ‘jobs’ then focus on ensuring your baby has a good amount of time out of a ‘container’ ( high chair, bouncer, swing etc) and simply allow something to come into focus for them and let them track it with their eyes nice and slowly. Lay them on their backs so they can move their whole bodies freely.

Today we tracked black and white moving close by, we rolled your vest up and let you experience the gentle tickles of the swishes.

At home You could always use a pair of patterned socks, some kitchen roll or a soft scarf if you don’t have access to a sensory toy.
