Rosedene Easterside's class of 2026 🎓
Yesterday we said goodbye to another incredible group of children as they graduated from our our nursery.
Watching them walk across the stage was a proud and emotional moment. It feels like only yesterday they were taking their very first steps, and now they are leaving us as confident, kind and curious little learners, ready for their next adventure.
We are going to miss the children so much, but are so proud of everything they have achieved and know they will shine as they begin school. 💙

What a wonderful week we've had making the most of the sunshine outdoors! ☀🎨
The children have been busy getting creative with outdoor art and enjoying lots of imaginative play in the sun. Outdoor play is such an important part of early years development, helping children build confidence, develop skills, spark creativity and support their overall wellbeing.

Our Nursery Turned Red for MFC!❤️
Last week, our children and team proudly wore red at nursery to support Middlesbrough at Wembley❤️⚽
Although the match wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we loved showing our support for our local football team and talking with the children about our community, teamwork, and cheering others on.
Taking part in moments like this helps children develop a sense of belonging, encourages conversations about the world around them, and supports their understanding of community and positive relationships 💫

Building secure relationships with peers and practitioners is such an important part of helping children feel confident, safe, and happy within their learning environment 💛
Over the last couple of weeks, we have been supporting some of our new starters as they settle into nursery life. Through nurturing bonds, reassurance, and encouragement, it has been lovely to see their confidence continue to grow each day.
Here are some lovely moments of our babies enjoying their time at nursery, now feeling content, secure, and confident to explore their environment and learning experiences independently ✨

Last week we celebrated a very special milestone… our nursery tipi turned 1! ✨
For the past year, we’ve watched our tipi become a space that is truly loved and enjoyed by all of our children. It has encouraged a real passion for outdoor learning, supported free-flow indoor/outdoor play, and given both the children and our team the opportunity to fall even more in love with learning in nature. 🌿
Over the last year, we’ve already created so many wonderful memories in this special space, from everyday adventures to family events. We feel incredibly grateful to have a space like this at our nursery and can’t wait to make many more memories in the years to come. 🤎🏕️

Forest School ♥️ 🌳 🌱
Last week, our story Hello Spring sparked lots of lovely conversations in Blossoms about the changing environment. We talked about signs of spring, from warmer sunshine to blooming flowers. The children explored a spring-themed playdough area filled with flowers and citrus fruits, engaging their senses as they discovered new smells, tastes, and textures. We also planted a variety of vegetables and herbs, and we’re so excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks!
Through these activities, the children developed their sensory exploration skills, using touch, smell, and taste to investigate the world around them. They also strengthened their fine and gross motor skills through scooping, digging, and planting, while building an early understanding of nature, growth, and seasonal change.🌎
