📖🌞Middlesbrough Summer Reading Mini Challenge 2026: Read to the Beat! 🌞📖

Enjoy reading 6 library books with your child over the summer, for each book collect a stamp in a special booklet - with a special gold sticker and certificate awarded when completed!

The challenge is totally free and all you need to do is pop in to one of the Middlesbrough Community Hubs and Libraries to join.

Summer Reading Challenge is presented by The Reading Agency and delivered in partnership with libraries.

Staff and students from The Avenue Primary School won a trip to Disneyland Paris where they sang alongside Katherine Jenkins 🎤

🎙️✨ Four lucky Year 5 pupils, fresh from their magical Disney trip, visited BBC Tees this morning!
They enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the studios and were interviewed for the breakfast show sharing highlights from their unforgettable Disney adventure. 🌟🏰 Our stars will be on Wednesday's breakfast show.

Our Year 4 boys football team proudly represented The Avenue at a tournament featuring schools from across Middlesbrough. The children showed fantastic teamwork and determination throughout.
