About Greatest Expectations
-
Expectations Limited was established in September 2009 as a community driven response to the opportunities being offered that same year by piloting the DWP Future Jobs Fund under the then Labour Government. Our aims and objectives: The up skilling of teaching of essential skills such as ICT, CV creation and interview skills – are designed to enable the unemployed people of Middlesbrough to gain new skills, allowing them to move with increased confidence towards the labour market and employment readiness. The community learning delivered by Greatest Expectations includes: ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) training delivered by Middlesbrough Community Learning Service (MCLS), customer service and business administration courses delivered by New College Durham, and UK Online delivered in house by our own team. Our ultimate mission is to enable unemployed people throughout Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley to become employed, or more employable. Through this we will look to benefit not only those individuals working with us, but also their families and eventually the local economy as a whole.
