🔴⚪ FROM THE TRINITY FAMILY TO THE RIVERSIDE! ⚪🔴

What a moment for former Boro player and Trinity Family member, Mr Campbell, who took to the pitch at the Riverside Stadium as part of Middlesbrough FC’s incredible 150th Anniversary Legacy Game! 🙌⚽

In front of more than 30,000 supporters, Mr Campbell entered the action in place of Boro legend Juninho — and certainly made his appearance count, finding the back of the net with a superb goal!

The goal helped Erimus secure an entertaining 8–6 victory over Ironopolis in a fantastic celebration of 150 years of Middlesbrough Football Club.

A very special day for Middlesbrough, a brilliant moment for Mr Campbell, and a proud one for everyone here at Trinity Catholic College and Sixth Form. ❤️💛

Once part of the Boro family, always part of the Boro family — and always part of the Trinity Family!

👏 Congratulations, Mr Campbell!

🙏 St Francis of Assisi & the Season of Creation 🌍

Today, on the Feast of St Francis of Assisi, we mark the close of the Season of Creation - an ecumenical season that has encouraged our students and staff to reflect on how we care for our common home and the choices we make every day.

Over recent weeks, our students, along with Chaplaincy, Art and RE, have been exploring fashion, sustainability and ethics, thinking about the impact of fast fashion on people and our planet.

Inspired by this learning, and working alongside the Holy Name of Mary Parish Justice & Peace group, our students are now putting it into action with our Season of Creation Fashion Show! 👗♻️✨

And we need your help!

We are asking our school and parish communities to donate good-quality pre-loved clothing that you no longer need. These clothes will be given a new lease of life on our catwalk, showing that fashion can be creative, fun and sustainable.

And there’s more…

♻️ SWAP SHOP! ♻️

If you would like to come to our fashion show (all are welcome!) please bring along clothes you no longer wear and swap them for something new-to-you!

Anything left at the end of the evening will be donated to local charities, so nothing goes to waste. 💚

What better way to celebrate the end of the Season of Creation than by bringing our learning to life through creativity, community and action?

📍 Please see the posters for full details of the event and how to donate clothing.

Have a clear-out, raid the wardrobes and ask your family and friends - we’d love your help in making our Season of Creation Fashion Show a fantastic celebration! 👗🌍♻️

🌟 Year 7 Retreat – Day One 🌟

The first half of our Year 7 students had a fantastic day on retreat on Tuesday, as they began exploring what it means to let their light shine - a theme that continued into today’s Welcome Mass.

Our day took us around Cod Beck and up to the Lady Chapel at Osmotherley, where we had time to pause, pray and reflect in the peaceful surroundings of this special place. Alongside our time of prayer and reflection, the students enjoyed team-building activities, plenty of opportunities to have fun together - and, of course, a well-earned ice cream! 🍦

Throughout the day, our Y7s were encouraged to think about what they love, what makes them special, what gifts they have to offer, and how they can use those gifts to help others shine too. Above all, we reflected on the wonderful truth that God loves each and every one of us. 💛🖤

It was a brilliant day of friendship, laughter, reflection and faith, and a great way to begin their Year 7 journey together.

A huge well done to our fantastic Y7s for throwing themselves into the day - and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again with the second half of Year 7 on Monday! 🌟

Let your light shine! ✨
