FAITH IN EXCELLENCE AS TRINITY STUDENTS SECURE RELIGIOUS STUDIES TOP MARKS

Trinity Catholic College is delighted to celebrate an outstanding group of students who achieved the highest possible GCSE grade in Religious Studies.

An incredible 11 students secured a grade 9, demonstrating exceptional knowledge, dedication and a genuine passion for the subject.

Congratulations to Amy Kielty, Angelique Richardson, Charlotte Ditchburn, Christian Dalby, Edwin Sebastian, Evie Howells, Gabrielle Grainger, Harry Wherrett, Luca Stevenson, Nancy Ogunsakin and Scarlett Richardson on this fantastic achievement.

Headteacher Michael Blair said: “Religious Studies plays an important role in the life and mission of Trinity, encouraging our students to think deeply about faith, morality, society and the world around them.

“Achieving the very highest grade is a wonderful reflection of the commitment these students have shown throughout their studies.

“Their success is also testament to the hard work and dedication of our Religious Studies team, who have supported and inspired students throughout their GCSE journey.

HARRY’S HARD WORK ADDS UP TO GCSE EXCELLENCE

Harry Hughes secured another outstanding set of results at the end of his Trinity studies, including impressive grade 9s in Mathematics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics and English Language.

These superb results were backed up by grade 8s in Computer Science, Physics, Biology, History and Religious Studies and are a fitting reward for Harry’s exceptional ability and commitment to his studies.

Harry said: “I’m really pleased with my results and proud that all the hard work has paid off. A special thank you to Miss Brown for all her support, encouragement and belief in me throughout the year — I really appreciate everything she has done.”

CLEAN SWEEP OF TOP GCSE GRADES FOR STUDENT PRESIDENT EVIE

Trinity student president Evie Howells has achieved an outstanding set of results, securing Grade 8s or 9s in every subject.

Evie was awarded impressive Grade 9s in Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Religious Studies, alongside Grade 8s in Biology, Drama, Further Mathematics, English Language, English Literature and French.

These remarkable results are a fitting reflection of Evie’s hard work, dedication and resilience throughout her time at Trinity.

Headteacher Michael Blair said: “Evie has made a significant contribution to the wider life of the college in her role as one of our student presidents, displaying the same commitment and enthusiasm outside the classroom that she has shown in her studies.

“Evie’s achievements highlight not only her academic ability but also the determination and positive attitude that have enabled her to flourish throughout her Trinity journey. She has been an excellent role model for her fellow students and should be incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished.

CHRISTIAN ENGINEERS A DISTINCTION-WORTHY GCSE PERFORMANCE

Christian Dalby has secured an exceptional set of GCSE results, including the highest possible grade of a Distinction* in Engineering.

He followed that up with Grade 9s in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, English Language, Geography and Religious Studies.

These fantastic results were complemented by an impressive Grade 8 in Physics and Grade 7s in English Literature and French.

Headteacher Michael Blair said: “Christian has been an exceptional student throughout his time at Trinity, consistently demonstrating hard work, determination and a commitment to excellence.

“Beyond his academic success, he has modelled our Trinity values throughout his journey and has been a wonderful example to those around him.

“His remarkable results are richly deserved and reflect the dedication he has shown to his studies.”

GABRIELLE SHINES WITH SPECTACULAR GCSE SUCCESS

Trinity is delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Gabrielle Grainger, who achieved an exceptional clean sweep of Grade 8s and 9s across all of her subjects.

Gabrielle secured an incredible nine GCSEs at Grade 9 including Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, History, Geography, Further Mathematics and Religious Studies, alongside Grade 8s in English Language and French.

Headteacher Michael Blair said: “These fantastic results are a testament to Gabrielle’s hard work, dedication and resilience throughout her time at Trinity.

“Her commitment to her studies and determination to succeed have been rewarded with a truly impressive set of grades.

“Gabrielle should be incredibly proud of everything she has achieved. Her results reflect the effort she has put into her education and provide a wonderful foundation for the next stage of her journey.”

IMPROVED RESULTS AS TRINITY GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH

Michael Blair, Headteacher at Trinity Catholic College in Middlesbrough said he is delighted to be celebrating another year of improved results, which he said reflect students’ continued progress.

He said: “It’s wonderful to celebrate the achievements of our pupils, who have enjoyed great success across a wide range of subjects. Their results are a testament to their hard work, determination and commitment.”

“It is especially encouraging to see a growing proportion of our pupils achieving the highest grades of 9 to 7 this year, alongside further increases in those securing grades 4 and 5.”

Subjects including Science, English, Maths and Geography all showed further improvements this year, while Engineering, Construction and Hospitality & Catering also performed particularly well, reinforcing the school’s strength and success across STEM and vocational subjects.

Mr Blair said: “Staff and pupils have worked exceptionally well together, particularly over the past year, and their shared commitment and determination have played a key role in driving continued progress.

“Building on the success of last week’s A Level results, we have also seen strong progress across the sciences, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology all achieving 100% pass rates at grade 4 and above.

“We are especially proud of those pupils who have gone above and beyond in their studies this year, with their hard work, determination and commitment enabling them to achieve grades beyond their targets.

“This success reflects the dedication, determination and commitment our staff demonstrate every day, together with the outstanding pastoral care and support provided to our pupils.

“We wish them all the very best of luck for their futures – and congratulate them on their efforts and successes.”

Today has been a day of celebration at T6 as our students collected their results and looked ahead to an exciting new chapter.

We’re incredibly proud to share that 34 T6 students are heading to university!

They’ll be studying a fantastic range of subjects, including Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sports Therapy, Medicine, Law, Physiotherapy, English Literature and Fashion – reflecting the diverse talents, interests and ambitions of our students.

Their university destinations are just as varied. Durham University, Loughborough University, Teesside University, Northumbria University and even Texas A&M University in the USA are just some of the destinations our students will be heading to this year.

From engineering and medicine to law, sport and the arts, our students are embarking on some incredible journeys, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them.

⚽ A Level Results Day success for T6’s football stars! 🎉

There were smiles all round for Ben Eeles and Patrick McGowran as they celebrated their results on A Level Results Day.

🏆 Ben achieved an impressive D*D D in BTEC Sport and is heading to Teesside University to study Sport and Exercise Science.

👏 Patrick achieved D M in BTEC Sport* alongside a C grade in English Language. He’s off to Northumbria University to study Sport and Exercise Science.

Both students have also graduated from the T6 Football Academy to play senior football. ⚽
Patrick plays semi-professional football for Stokesley SCFC, while Ben plays for St Mary’s 1947 Dorman FC.

Congratulations, Ben and Patrick – what an achievement! We wish you both every success for the future.
