Hey everyone! 🐣🪺

As a nursery owner, my staff and I have been thinking of ways to keep the little ones entertained during the Easter holidays. We came up with an easy salt dough recipe that parents can make with their children at home to design Easter eggs. Not only is this a fun activity, but it's also a great way to bond with your child and unleash their creativity.

Here's how to make the salt dough: 🧂🪺

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of salt 🧂
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour 💦
- 1 cup of warm water 💧🌤️

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salt and flour.
2. Gradually add the warm water and mix until the dough becomes smooth and pliable.
3. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and use an egg-shaped cookie cutter to create your eggs.
4. Use a straw to make a small hole at the top of each egg for hanging.
5. Bake your eggs in the oven at 200 degrees for 2-3 hours or until they are completely dry.
6. Once the eggs have cooled down, let your child's imagination run wild by painting and decorating them however they like!

At our daycare nursery, we work with parents to establish daily routines that support their child's development. Some examples of routines include a morning routine that includes breakfast, getting dressed, and brushing teeth, an afternoon routine that includes snack time and quiet play, and a bedtime routine that includes bath time, story time, and a goodnight hug.
