TLC Childcare of Marton Teaching, Learning, Caring with TLC

TLC Childcare of Marton Teaching, Learning, Caring with TLC We are a home-based childcare setting in Marton-in-Cleveland. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child in the hands of someone else.

What I offer is a ‘home’ from ‘home’ environment. I aim to provide a wide range of opportunities in the form of interactive, fun and challenging activities to enable children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to develop and learn through play in a caring, supportive and happy environment. I fully understand the importance of learning through play and appreciate that each child is unique. What one child enjoys, another may not. I believe that children should be treated with respect and that they learn from positive role models. My experience as a parent and training as a childminder has provided me with strong skills in childcare. I feel very comfortable and competent caring for children of all ages

I believe children are a gift to be nurtured, loved and cherished.

Today we’re celebrating the importance of keeping our little ones happy, healthy, and thriving! 👩‍⚕️🩺

From enjoying healthy foods 🍇 and staying active with our weekly music/dance classes, 💃🏼🕺 to getting plenty of rest, 💤 fresh air 🌬️ and, of course, having lots of opportunities to play 🧸 - all these things contribute to our children’s health and wellbeing. ❤️

At TLC, we love creating a happy, positive environment, where our little ones can grow, play, explore and develop healthy habits through their everyday experiences! ✨

Happy National Child Health Day! 🥰

Ablecabs Airport 🚕 ♿️ 🚖

Long post alert ‼️ 🤣

When ya ringing round for airport prices, I say it all the time,,, Always ask if the drop off charge is included !!!!
Last month a lady rang me for a price from Marton to NCAP for her and 3 friends. I told her £75 (I’m still too cheap !!)
She said the usual “I’ll get back to you !!” And she did a couple of days later. One of her friends knows a taxi driver who will take them for £70 but as I come highly recommend she would rather go with me if I would go for £70 !!!
I told her absolutely not , it’s 6 quid to get out !!!
She’s talking about saving £1-25 each !! You can’t buy anything in the airport for £1-25 🤣🤣
She apologised, cancelled me and said she hopes to see me next time

Today she rang me from NCAP, they all had to travel with little hand luggage cases on thier knee cos it cound’nt all fit in the boot and the taxi driver pulled into the petrol station and told them they could either walk over or pay an extra tenner for him to go in !! (I don’t know why a tenner, it’s only £6)
She said she’s not arsed about paying the tenner, it’s the fact he took the p**s, she paid it and went in. She cancelled the return and asked me to go back for them in a fortnight, early hours of Saturday morning !!! Not a chance !!! 🤣🤣

Shes not arsed about giving him an extra tenner to go 300 yards but was arsed about giving me a fiver to go 50 odd miles !!!
Ya can’t win them all Johnboy 🤷‍♂️

Happy Friday everyone 👍
