4SJ have been enjoying painting in the style of the 'Impressionists'. In Science, we have sorted animals into categories and in History, we have been working co-operatively to create timelines of events from ancient to modern as we begin our 'Vikings' topic.

We really enjoyed our visit to Tennis World this week. Thank you for your support, we are 'on track' for our very first 100% attendance this week too!

πŸ“’ Important Reminder for Parents and Carers πŸ“’

Since returning to school in September, we have noticed an increase in the number of children being dropped off and collected from the main reception. We would like to remind everyone of our drop-off and collection arrangements to help ensure the school day runs smoothly and safely for all children.

🧸 Nursery & 2-Year-Old Provision β€’ Morning Session: 8:30am - 11:30am β€’ Afternoon Session: 12:15pm - 3:15pm

πŸ“š Reception to Year 6 β€’ All children should be in their classroom by 8:45am β€’ Collection time is 3:15pm

🚢 Drop-Off and Collection Arrangements
Please ensure that children are taken directly to their classrooms each morning and collected from their classrooms at the end of the school day.

🏫 The main reception should only be used if your child is arriving late, leaving early for an appointment, or in exceptional circumstances.

Unfortunately, we do not have the staffing capacity to accommodate large numbers of children being dropped off or collected through the school office. By taking children directly to and from their classrooms, you are helping us to ensure that staff can remain focused on teaching, learning, and supporting our pupils throughout the day.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. We greatly appreciate your help in keeping our school safe, organised, and running efficiently for everyone. 😊

Today, Y6 went to Roseberry Topping for their Geography field trip. The children were extremely polite when questioning members of the public and were constantly offering support to others who needed it. Well done Y6!
