Our wonderful student Ayodamola Adebola supported the National Literacy Trust (NLT) at the MELA Festival over the weekend!

As Literacy Champion for the National Literacy Trust, she chatted with families about simple, fun ways to enjoy reading and storytelling at home and connected with others who care about literacy in Middlesbrough.

👉 You need to bring proof of your appointment with you, plus a paper copy of your GCSE results, your National Insurance Number (if you have this), and a valid form of ID. You’ll get a reminder text and email a couple of days before your appointment - just show this as proof when you arrive.

👉 At the appointment, you will meet with your tutor, confirm your place on the course, and collect your ID badge.

A record number of T Level, A Level and Level 3 vocational students are celebrating their success today!

The class of 2026 achieved extremely strong results across both academic and technical courses, opening opportunities to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.

⭐ Over 300 students received their T Level results, with over three-quarters receiving high grades
⭐ A Level students received a 99% pass rate, with the highest ever number of students achieving A* to A grades
⭐ Over 90% of students got into their first-choice university, and 20% got into Sutton Trust universities
⭐ The college has seen an 8.5% increase in the number of students being placed compared to last year
