My heart sang a little bit today. After a couple of terms visiting our class, Pre School Storytime with Creative Arts, this little boy now comes to our ‘Open Studio’ session with his own book and some big ideas!
His mum said that, when looking at a new book, he now talks about how the pictures were painted, the materials used in the illustration. That is just wonderful isn’t it?
More than anything I’m so proud of how his confidence has changed, transformed from a very silent boy to a small, chatty friend.

It has been a long while since I (Sara) have posted in this page, as you know I’m taking a work break. I really wanted to share this with you though. One of our ‘Young Artists’ from last years classes has started to share his art with the wider world.
This enterprising boy, Luca, has taken his art, and with the support of his Mum, turned it into prints. She shares his love of connection, learning and building community. His very name, meaning bringer of light is the name of his newly shooting business.
I was chuffed to bits when they both rocked up with this gift for me on a recent visit home. Here they are in my new home, next to the front door where I get to see them every time I go out into the world. They will inspire me everyday.
Thankyou so, so much to you both. You ARE light!!

- ‘Be cool like the moon' & 'Shine bright like the sun' are inspired by his naming ceremony cakes by Amba Horton🌞🌑
- ‘Be Happy' was created at Campo Sancho festival with Lisa Loud in the graffiti tent 🙂
The world seems heavy right now so it would give Luca such great pleasure in sending you some love and light to your door ✨
