There will be a FREE holiday activity programme for children who are due to start Outwood Academy Normanby in September.

This 4 day programme will run from Monday 27th July - Thursday 30th July. 10am - 2pm. @ Outwood Academy Normanby.

Lots of activities planned and free lunch supplied every day.

🧁 WE DID IT! 🧁

A huge thank you to everyone who supported, baked, and bought treats at our charity bake sale!

Thanks to your amazing generosity, Cameroon PD group raised £200 to go directly toward the Headlight Project. Whether you brought a cake or bought a cupcake, every single penny makes a huge difference.

Mrs McKee would like to say a massive well done to pupils in Year 7 Vietnam who worked tirelessly in the last half term of school in an attempt to clean up the local community around Outwood Normanby. Please help support our school and local community and remember to put your rubbish in a bin.

To conclude our trip pupils headed to Terra Mitica theme park for a thrilling time. Many thanks to all the wonderful pupils and teachers who came on our trip and made it so enjoyable. A massive thank you also to all the parents who were supportive and also made this trip possible. We will all cherish the amazing memories we made.

On Wednesday pupils started the morning with a guided visited of a Turron factory, where they learned about what it is and how it is produced. They were then given the opportunity to try and also buy some.

Pupils then visited the famous Valencia Science Museum, this is one of Valencia's most impressive buildings due to its size and design.

After visiting the stadium pupils explored Oceanographic Valencia, which is one of the worlds biggest Aquariums. They had the opportunity to see and learn about many different species including penguins, dolphins and belugas.

On Tuesday pupils started the day with a guided tour of the famous 103 year old Mestalla Stadium, the home of Valencia CF. They learned many interesting facts such as how it was badly affected by the Spanish Civil War, and how it helped local people during devastating flooding in 2024 that claimed over 200 lives.

After visiting the castle, pupils headed to the picturesque Santa Barbara neighbourhood, followed by the surreal Calle de las Setas where they saw large friendly mushroom figures. Later they visited the beach and explored the city further.
