If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, it’s now time to apply for their Reception place for September 2026.

💇‍♀️✨ Role Play Fun at the Nursery! ✨💇‍♀️

Today our little stylists had an amazing time at our role play hair salon! 💕 Using our hairdresser accessories, the children took turns creating fabulous hairstyles for Brooke - showing so much care, concentration, and creativity along the way.

It was lovely to see them completely engrossed in their play, chatting, laughing, and working together just like real hairdressers. 🎀

Role play activities like this really help children develop their imagination, communication skills, and empathy - and of course, have lots of fun too! 🌟

"Remember, remember the fifth of November..."
The children loved creating their own bonfires with plenty of glue, glitter, and imagination! We’re so proud of their fiery masterpieces! 🔥

Our little learners have been busy exploring shapes through a hands-on tracing activity! From circles to squares, triangles to rectangles — the children focused hard, strengthened their fine motor skills, and most importantly, had lots of fun.

Our little ones loved bathing their baby dolls. There was lots of splashing, giggles, and gentle care! 💦

It’s a lovely way to encourage empathy, build fine motor skills, and explore self-care routines… all through play! 💕

It was like walking into Storyland at nursery today, so many different characters having fun celebrating World Book Day.

Dolls are perfect for role play as they offer children the opportunity to imagine themselves as the caregivers. By engaging in role-play with the dolls, children can develop empathy, communication skills and problem solving abilities.
