We’re looking for a Baby Room Leader to join our Parkway Day Nursery family!

If you’re nurturing, confident, and passionate about giving babies the very best start, we’d love to hear from you.

✨ Full‑time, all year round
✨ 42.5 hours per week
✨ Monday–Friday
✨ Shifts between 7:30am–6:00pm
✨ Immediate start available

You’ll lead our baby room team, create a warm and responsive environment, and support our youngest children through their earliest milestones.

Week 4 - Time flys when you’re having fun! We started the week with lots of fun on the field at our Parkway sports day, even the staff were feeling competitive 😂. Day 2 we did some beautiful stain glass painting and finished the afternoon off in the sunshine with a bbq. Last but not least we went to World of play for our weekly trip where we enjoyed a delicious hot meal, lots of cold drinks and a cheeky ice cream to keep us cool 😎🍦

And just like that week 2 & 3 complete. We have had a fun packed time visiting Preston park, exploring science and making some debatable slime 🤣. We had a lovely visit from the pottery barn where the children designed their own pottery before it was taken away to go in the kiln and lots of sports and trips to the onsite park.

Week 3 we enjoyed playing fair ground games including hook a duck and we had our very own coconut shy. We made chocolate crispie cakes, decorated biscuits and got to eat them for tea. Our weekly trip was Saltburn where we visited Valley gardens, ate lunch at the park and had a great time in the rock pools at the beach. We ended the week making tie die t.shirts and made pizzas/fruit kebabs before settling down to a movie 🍿 🎥.

First week at holiday club done 🌞. We have had so much fun and it has been amazing to see so many new faces. We started off the week with a nature hunt and then used all the items we found to design our own sculptures and collages. Then we had a lovely walk to Stewart’s park with a visit to the play park, the information centre and of course an ice cream to keep us cool 🍦. Finally we spent the last day designing our own kites and getting to fly them in the afternoon despite the lack of wind 🪁.
We are really looking forward to week 2 ……

Saturday was such a truly special day as we celebrated our wonderful Pre‑School children graduating from nursery. 🌟💛 Watching them stand so proudly, seeing their little smiles and the excitement in their eyes… it reminded us why these moments matter so much.

They’ve grown, learned, laughed, and blossomed during their time with us, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. Thank you to all our families for sharing this milestone — it was a day filled with love, joy, and memories we’ll treasure.

Here’s to their next big adventure. 🌈✨

About the Club: Join us for a fun-filled days of activities designed to keep children active, creative, and engaged during the February half term! Each day offers a mix of sports, arts and crafts, games, and themed challenges — perfect for making new friends and learning new skills.

Activities Include: • Arts & Crafts • Team Sports and Outdoor Games • Science and Nature Explorations • Trips out to local venues • Themed and Dress-Up Days • Movie Afternoon with Snacks

Ages: Suitable for children aged 5–11 years

We would just like to say a huge thank you to all our families who came and supported us today at our open day. We had so much support and a great turn out and it was so lovely to see the children enjoying the bouncy castle 🏰, face painting with Claire 🎨 , donkey rides 🫏, our Coulby Newham fire brigade 🚒, Ice creams 🍦with Chrissy and so much more.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our amazing and dedicated staff who without their hardwork we wouldn’t have such an amazing setting at Acklam xx
