GCSE Results Day Reminder for Parents & Carers

GCSE Results Day is fast approaching!

We know this can be an exciting, emotional and sometimes nerve-wracking time for young people and their families. A little reminder to check the arrangements for collecting results, make sure your child knows when and where to go, and talk through their plans for what comes next.

Whether they’re heading to sixth form, college, an apprenticeship or exploring other options, there is more than one pathway to success.

Most importantly, remind them that their results do not define who they are or what they can achieve. Whatever the outcome, there will be support and options available.

Good luck to all our Year 11 students! We’re incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment and resilience you’ve shown throughout your GCSE journey.

Now that the school has closed for the summer and everyone is enjoying a well-deserved break, work has officially started on our full roof refurbishment.

Over the summer holidays, contractors will be working hard to complete this important improvement so that we can continue providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our pupils and staff.

We’ll be sharing updates along the way, so keep an eye on our page to see how the project is progressing.

If you are in Redcar this summer - Footprints in the Community - kids eat for £1

I am delighted to confirm that our school has been accepted into the Tesco Free Fruit & Veg for Schools programme.

As one of only 1000 schools taking part, during the academic year 26/27 Tesco will be donating £3,000, to our school for fruit and vegetables.

As another school year comes to an end, we'd like to wish all of our amazing pupils and their families a happy, safe and relaxing summer holiday!

We are incredibly proud of everything our pupils have accomplished this year. They have grown in confidence, made fantastic memories, embraced new challenges and continued to make us smile every day.

We hope you all enjoy making memories together over the holidays. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September.
