Personally, it is somewhat an end of an era. I am moving the business to the Northallerton area but we still have tutors all over Teesside, Yarm, Darlington, and in some parts of North Yorkshire who are willing and able to help you achieve the best you can achieve. Business as usual, just with a new address! I hope to develop more tutors in the Northallerton and Bedale areas to boost my registered tutors all over Teesside. Get in touch if you're a qualified teacher and would like to join us for extra cash in those areas. I'd love to hear from you.

My 3 Year 6s did very well in their SATs this year. One reached close to 120 so above expected and she had been borderline. Another reached expected level in all 3 subjects, despite all previous tests being below 100. We made the difference when it really counted. Having that extra confidence and knowledge from a very experienced SATs marker really helped. Well done everyone. Good luck with Y7 and beyond.

Y6 SATs are over and I've received a beautiful bunch of roses to say thank you for my support with one of them. Much appreciated. I hope the week has gone well for my Y6s and now enjoy the rest of your primary last year.

Please see this advice about students taking exams too.
https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BG6RxY1Dc/

For those living with children and young people taking exams over the next few weeks here’s a few reminders-

✏️ Empathise - acknowledge how they are feeling, avoid offering advice unless they ask for it.
✏️ Listen - let them rant, moan, talk about their exam, not want to talk about it. Follow their lead
✏️ Regulate - it’s likely they’re going to feel overwhelmed so nice food, snacks, walks, games, movie nights, hugs.
✏️ Be present - they might not “need” you but be there, be present in the house and keeping checking in. Don’t just leave them to it and hope they’ll ask if they need something.
✏️ Remind them they are more than their exam results. Gently notice all their other lovely qualities no matter how small.

Good luck to all our students sitting exams soon. Y6 SATs and GCSEs and soon A levels will be upon us. We hope we've helped your child's confidence and ability to breeze through exams with the help of our qualified teachers offering expert tuition. Please do let us know how they get on later in the summer. Good luck but remember these exams don't define your whole life...everyone is an individual with other skills that you can succeed in. Be yourself and do the best you can.
Good Luck.
