What a gorgeous day!! ☀️ we have been very slow on the updates but don’t be fooled, lots has been going on here at Ashgill!!

How on earth is it nearly October!!
We have had a great first month of back to school lessons and have been lucky with the weather so we have enjoyed getting out hacking whilst the evenings are still light enough to!

OUR DIARIES ARE NOW CLOSED TO ANY NEW STARTERS UNTIL SPRING 2027! I am overwhelmed with the support from both existing and new clients, and the horses and I just can’t stretch ourselves any more than we already are! I feel so lucky to call this my job!! When 16 year old me started Ashgill I never imagined it would become the yard it is today! 🤩

Nearly All the horses have had their first clips of the autumn and are looking incredible! They are still living out on an evening for now so I’m enjoying that whilst it lasts! We will see what this next week brings! But I don’t think it will be long before I have 15 stables to muck out every morning! 🙃

Keep your eyes peeled for our half term activities 🎃👻

And just like that we are heading in to week 7 of the summer holidays!
What a summer it has been!!! It’s been our busiest yet and I’ve been enjoying a lovely relaxed bank holiday weekend off! The ponies have too, and were having great fun bucking and rearing and enjoying the cooler temperatures in the field yesterday! I wish I had got it on video as some of those OAP’s (old aged ponies 😆) have still got some good moves!

Weeks 3/4/5 and 6 were filled with just as much pony fun as weeks 1 and 2!
Pony days. Another visit from little berries. Picnic hacks. Lessons. Pony camp. Winston attended his first show! Some lovely hacks with people who were visiting the area and wanted to see the beauty of Coverdale from behind the best 2 ears!

We still have a fun week ahead!
I’m busy sorting out term time lessons so if you have enquired about these then I should be in touch in the next couple of days, if not, give me a nudge!!
