Mid Calder School Of Dance We are a parent-run, non-profit dance school who aim to make dance fun and accessible for all. All abilities are welcome and will be catered to.

Mid Calder School of Dance is a parent-run, non-profit organisation that has been successfully running dance classes for three decades. We focus on ensuring dancing is fun for all, and teach a variety of styles including Disco, Highland, Ballet and Tap. Pupils can start from as young as 3, usually continuing into their late teens. We are very fortunate to have a fantastic team of well

qualified and skilled dance teachers. Our team includes:
Heather Rankin; who has been with us since the classes began and brings with her many years of experience teaching Highland, Disco, Ballet and Tap. Lee Dyet; who has over 20 years of dance teaching experience, specialising in Ballet, Tap, Disco and Jazz. Emma Templeton; who has more than 20 years of dancing experience, and has been with MCSD for over 7 years. OUR EVENTS
Though we focus on making dancing fun, we also like to ensure our children can see how they are progressing, and so have dance exams once a year. We also love to share our dancing with families and friends, and perform an annual show at a local theatre before we break up for summer.
