🦖💙 Happy Father’s Day to all the truly Roar-some dads, step-dads, grandads, uncles and special grown-ups in our lives! 💙🦖

We hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating with your families and making lots of special memories together.

To mark the occasion, the children enjoyed creating their very own dinosaur-themed cards in nursery. They worked so hard to make something special for the important people in their lives who help them to grow, learn, explore and stomp through life just like little dinosaurs! 🦕💚

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 World Cup football fun 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽️

The children have been having so much fun exploring shapes and space through our exciting table football activity. It was wonderful to see them developing their mathematical thinking whilst enjoying a game with their friends.

We got creative by making our own England hats and flags to cheer on the Three Lions throughout the tournament and the nursery was filled with excitement as we practised our favourite football chants of “Come on England!” 📣🏆

The children were fantastic at working together, taking turns, sharing resources and showing great teamwork during our football-themed games and activities. We were so proud of how they encouraged one another and celebrated each other’s successes ⚽️

👑 We had fantastic fun in nursery celebrating King Charles III’s Birthday with a Teddy Bears’ Picnic! 🧸

We enjoyed exploring a range of exciting activities learning all about the King through our special storybook featuring our very own nursery fish friends. 🐟📖

We saw some wonderful imaginative play as the children role played together, cared for their teddy bears and shared lots of precious moments with their friends. It was lovely to see so much kindness and creativity throughout the day.

The children enjoyed a delicious picnic in the garden that was fit for a King, surrounded by their favourite teddy bears and friends. 🧺 🐻 🥪🍓👑

Welcome Back for Summer Term Two🦕🌿
What a wonderful first week back we have had.

This week the children have been celebrating International Dinosaur Day, exploring and learning all about our prehistoric friends. From stomping and roaring to role-playing with our favourite dinosaur figures, the nursery has been full of dinosaur adventures.

The children have enjoyed discovering different dinosaur species and learning their names, some of them were a little bit difficult to pronounce! 🦖🦕

Our little explorers also took part in a special Ice Age challenge, where they had to rescue dinosaurs trapped in the “Big Freeze” using their problem solving skills and determination.

Throughout the week we have enjoyed:

🦕 Exploring dinosaur-themed sensory and small world play trays
🦖 Learning about different dinosaurs and their fascinating names
🧊 Rescuing dinosaurs from the Big Freeze
🌿 Going on prehistoric adventures and role playing dinosaurs in the garden.

🐝🌼 World Bee Day 🌼🐝

The children have had a wonderful time learning all about World Bee Day; what bees do, how important they are to us and how we can help to look after them 💛

We had lots of fun exploring:

🐝 Bee sensory trays
🐝 Making play dough bees
🐝 Creating bee art
🐝 Going on a bee hunt
🐝 Sharing bee stories and books
🐝 Role playing worker bees

We even enjoyed a delicious honey sweet treat snack! 🍯✨

The children loved discovering how bees help our planet and why it is so important that we protect them. We had wonderful discussions and the children showed lots of creativity and curiosity throughout the day 🌎💛🐝

Over the past few weeks our children have been busy learning all about caring for our wonderful world, exploring how we can protect our planet, look after our oceans and show kindness to animals big and small 🌍🥰

The children have loved chatting away to the fish, helping to feed them and have created the most imaginative little stories about their underwater adventures 🫧✨

We can’t wait to see all the learning, curiosity and magical moments our new fishy friends will inspire 🐟💫

🚂🚗 Exploring Travel & Movement✈️🌍

Our children have been having a wonderful time exploring travel and movement, from zooming cars to chugging trains, their imaginations have been taking them on all kinds of adventures.

We have been developing many important skills, including:

🌎 Understanding the World – learning about how we travel, exploring different journeys.
🖐️ Fine Motor Skills – building and manoeuvring vehicles, strengthening little hands.
💬 Communication & Language – sharing ideas, storytelling and engaging in role play together.

With lots of creativity, curiosity, teamwork and fun 🌼
