We just want to say a massive thank you to all of our parents and families who donated and bought tickets for our Easter raffle. Your support genuinely means a lot to us.
All proceeds from the raffle go 100% towards student activities and experiences, helping us create more opportunities and memorable moments for our students.

The Tuesday lads out for some fresh air.
One of the things we value here is keeping things relaxed, supportive and giving young people the chance to learn in a smaller environment that suits them. Not everyone thrives in big classrooms, and that’s exactly why alternative provision exists.
Small groups, real support, and a place where students can build confidence while working towards their English and Maths qualifications.
Sometimes a different setting makes all the difference.

🌸 Mother’s Day Raffle Prize 🌸
A big thank you to Charley’s mum for kindly creating and donating this lovely handmade pillow and towel set for our Mother’s Day raffle. It’s a beautiful prize and we’re very grateful for the support.
Thanks as well to the students who volunteered to model the prizes for the photos, complete with a few suitably cheesy poses!
All proceeds from the raffle will go directly into our student trip fund, helping support future trips and experiences for our students.

We love celebrating the achievements of our students, and this is a special one.

Last year’s Student of the Year continues to set the standard, working hard every day, showing real consistency, and already sitting his English exams ahead of schedule. He is friendly, positive, and always willing to help others or get involved in whatever is happening.
We had this T-shirt made to recognise his effort and commitment, because achievements like this deserve to be seen and celebrated.
We are incredibly proud of him and proud of every student who walks through our doors. Our focus is simple: support each young person, build confidence, and help them achieve more than they thought possible.
If you’re looking for a small, supportive environment where your child is known, encouraged, and given real opportunities to succeed, we are always ready to help.

As we head into the New Year, we want to say a huge thank you to our parents and students for the very kind Christmas gifts and messages — they were truly appreciated.
It has been an incredibly productive year. Our students continue to impress us with their effort, resilience, and growth, and for some, the year ahead will be a big one as they move into important exam years.
We feel genuinely fortunate to be able to teach such a great group of young people. What we have here goes beyond a classroom — it really does feel like a family.
We’re looking forward to another positive year ahead. Here’s a look back at some great moments from the year just gone.

We finished the week with a Secret Santa activity on Friday, and it was great to see how much thought the students put into choosing their gifts. There were some genuinely thoughtful choices and a lot of smiles along the way.
Thank you to all of the parents for supporting this and helping the students take part. Activities like this are a simple but important part of building confidence, social skills and a sense of belonging.
It was a relaxed, festive end to the week and a nice reminder of the calm, supportive environment the students enjoy here as we head towards Christmas.

TITANIC SURVIVAL EXPERIENCE – ENGLISH FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ❄️
Over the past two weeks, our students have been diving deep (literally!) into the history of the Titanic as part of their Functional Skills English lessons. They’ve explored the tragedy, the human stories, the survival challenges, and the harsh realities faced by those who entered the freezing Atlantic waters that night.
To bring the learning to life, students were invited to take part in a practical activity:
🧊 placing their hand into icy water matching the temperature survivors would have felt.
This hands-on challenge helped students understand just how shockingly cold the water was — and how incredible it was that anyone survived at all.

The activity inspired some brilliant discussions, reflective writing, and plenty of shocked reactions
