Proud doesn’t quite cover it!
Two of our students have recently taken on fantastic new challenges outside their time at Prospect. One has been playing football at Doncaster Rovers and is doing incredibly well, while another has joined the Army Cadets and is already looking the part!
Their achievements are completely their own, supported by their families and the brilliant people working with them outside Prospect. However, it means so much to us to see the confidence they have built during their time here carrying into other areas of their lives.
Education is about far more than completing qualifications. It is also about helping young people discover who they are, recognise what they are capable of and find the confidence to take new opportunities.
Watching our students grow, mature and thrive is one of the best parts of what we do. We are incredibly proud of them both and cannot wait to see where these new adventures take them.

🎉 A massive congratulations to all our students who passed their exams! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of every one of them. Their hard work, determination and perseverance have paid off, and these results are thoroughly deserved.
Many of our students came to Prospect Training after feeling let down by mainstream education. With the right environment, individual support and people who believe in them, they have shown exactly what they can achieve.
Watching their confidence grow and seeing them succeed is what Prospect Training is all about.
Well done to every student who passed, you should be extremely proud of yourselves. We certainly are! 👏

This is what it should look like.
Not stress.
Not anxiety.
Not a battle to get them through the door.
Just young people who feel comfortable, building friendships and enjoying their time here.
Our Tuesday group having a bit of fun during a team building activity — exactly how it should be.
Education doesn’t have to be one-size-fits-all.
If your child isn’t thriving in mainstream, there are other options.

The Tuesday lads out for some fresh air.
One of the things we value here is keeping things relaxed, supportive and giving young people the chance to learn in a smaller environment that suits them. Not everyone thrives in big classrooms, and that’s exactly why alternative provision exists.
Small groups, real support, and a place where students can build confidence while working towards their English and Maths qualifications.
Sometimes a different setting makes all the difference.

A big thank you to Charley’s mum for kindly creating and donating this lovely handmade pillow and towel set for our Mother’s Day raffle. It’s a beautiful prize and we’re very grateful for the support.
Thanks as well to the students who volunteered to model the prizes for the photos, complete with a few suitably cheesy poses!
All proceeds from the raffle will go directly into our student trip fund, helping support future trips and experiences for our students.

We love celebrating the achievements of our students, and this is a special one.

Last year’s Student of the Year continues to set the standard, working hard every day, showing real consistency, and already sitting his English exams ahead of schedule. He is friendly, positive, and always willing to help others or get involved in whatever is happening.
We had this T-shirt made to recognise his effort and commitment, because achievements like this deserve to be seen and celebrated.
We are incredibly proud of him and proud of every student who walks through our doors. Our focus is simple: support each young person, build confidence, and help them achieve more than they thought possible.
If you’re looking for a small, supportive environment where your child is known, encouraged, and given real opportunities to succeed, we are always ready to help.
