A brilliant, high-energy day out in the community to wrap up an unforgettable camp!

🎟️ The Silverburn Scavenger Hunt
The group headed off to Silverburn to take on the raffle scavenger hunt challenge, using sharp eyes and quick teamwork to track down tickets hidden across the centre. A massive congratulations to today’s two top hunters, Charlie and Beau, who each took home a well-deserved prize! 🏆👏

Group 2 spent their last day at the October Camp at Construction! We saw some brilliant craftsmanship as the group took their wooden Halloween lanterns from raw timber to finished showpieces!

🪵 Workshop Craft & Power Tools
Guided every step of the way by our student mentors, the group put real carpentry skills into practice:
• Drilling & Assembly: Mastered combi drills to drill clean pilot holes—learning how to protect the timber from splitting—before using impact drivers to fix the frames solidly together.
• Custom Painting: Spent the afternoon bringing their own spooky concepts to life. The attention to detail was exceptional, with everyone putting real thought into their colour schemes and stencil designs. The finished lanterns turned out top-class!

🎮 Games Room Battles & FIFA
• Kicked off the morning upstairs with icebreakers, quizzes, and quick-fire rounds of "Stop the Bus"—which the girls completely dominated today!
• Wrapped up the tools in the afternoon and headed back up for some well-earned downtime and heated matches on the FIFA tournament.

🙌 A Huge Thank You to Our Volunteers
A massive shout-out to all our student volunteers who gave up their time this week to support the camp. Your patience, leadership, and hands-on guidance made the whole experience a massive success—the kids had an absolute blast working alongside you! 👏💪
