As another school year comes to an end, we say goodbye to an incredible group of Year 6 pupils.

You have made us laugh, made us proud and, at times, kept us on our toes. We’ve watched you grow from children into confident, kind and resilient young people who are ready for the next exciting chapter of your lives.

Whether you’ve shone in the classroom, on the sports field, on the stage (I think we all know who that might be 😊) or simply through the kindness you’ve shown to others, each of you has left your own unique mark on our school. Those memories will stay with us for years to come.

As you move on to secondary school, remember to believe in yourselves. Be brave enough to try new things, kind enough to lift others up and determined enough to keep going when life feels challenging. Success isn’t about never making mistakes – it’s about learning from them and never giving up.

To our families, thank you for trusting us to be part of your children’s journey. It has been a privilege to watch them grow and to celebrate their achievements alongside you.

Year 6, this may be goodbye but it is also the beginning of an exciting new adventure. Wherever life takes you, we hope you always remember that you will forever be part of our school family.

A huge well done to every single one of our incredible Y6 children collecting their SATs results today. We are so proud of how far you’ve come since you began your primary school journey and the wonderful, kind-hearted, determined young people you are. Yes, there’s so so much more to you than that scaled score but WOW - we are so proud of you.

Year 6 families (all welcome) are invited to arrive from 1.30pm for a 2pm start for our incredible leavers’ performance.

We can’t wait to share the children’s hard work and we hope you enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.

Our Year 6s had the best time enjoying their final primary school trip together at bowling today! 🎳🥰 Lots of laughs, plenty of strikes and a few questionable bowling techniques!

Roll on our final two days, full of fun, laughter and making as many memories together as we possibly can. There may also be a few tears along the way… especially from the Year 6 team! *sobs* 😭😂

Big congratulations go to Year 3 and 4 Hawthorn and Year 5 and 6 Rowan for winning the House Rounders Competition🥇🎉

It was a fantastic day and all teams played brilliantly so well done. This concludes our very successful house competitions for this year.

Children have taken part in house rounders, hockey, football, rugby and athletics.

Thank you to Mrs Hutchings for organising all the house competitions and the medals / stickers and to all the staff that have helped out including Lee Frecklington and Mrs Grinrod-Smith.

A big thank you to the house captains and all the other year 6 children that have helped to umpire and score during the house competitions. This includes Annamae, Lydia and Eliza for their help on Friday with house rounders. We couldn’t have done it without you.
