IA3. Leading and Improving - TRUST BASED OBSERVATIONS.

In 2022 Pantysgallog worked in collaboration with Coed Y Dderwen school to broker the support of Craig Randall, Seattle based teacher, coach, principal and author of Trust Based Observations (TBO).

TBO is a method used by senior staff in schools to monitor teaching and learning and develop professional growth as part of school improvement.

Roll on 5 years to 2026 and Craig has returned to work with senior staff at our school, Coed Y Dderwen, Greenfields and Twynyrodyn, so the TBO model continues to grow within Merthyr.

- SUN SAFETY - The weather is due to become very warm next week. Please prepare for this!

Pupils should be coming to school dressed appropriately for the weather, please also make sure your child has a hat, sun cream and a drink.

HUGE THANK YOU to the proprietors of local company Crossy’s. The parents of Jayden (Y5) and Olivia (Y2) have been amazingly generous, donating over 200 bottles of water for pupils to drink at Sports Day next week!

How fortunate are we to have a school based within such a supportive community!
