What a fantastic first week back at Pantysgallog! ❤️🏫

Our pupils have returned with such positive attitudes and have done an amazing job settling back into school life. It has been wonderful to see classrooms filled with smiles, excitement and lots of brilliant learning already!

On Monday 7th September, pupils will take part in an exciting Spanish Immersion Day at Pantysgallog Primary!

⚠️SAFEGUARDING⚠️

Reporting your child being absent from school.

If your child is absent from school you are obliged to inform school of the reasons for this absence.

The correct protocol for this is to inform the school office by ringing 01685 351813. If the office is closed or no one answers your call please leave a message, recorded messages are checked on a daily basis.

Alternatively, you can email the office - [email protected]

Absences which are reported directly to teaching staff or to the headteacher may not be forwarded onto the office. When this occurs the office will assume that an absence has not been reported, which will prompt a response from school in the form of a text message.

It may also mean that your child’s absence could be coded incorrectly on our electronic system.

⚠️URGENT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/CARERS ⚠️

Our school hall has been temporarily closed for safety reasons due to loose ceiling tiles. We expect the hall to remain closed until Monday while this is addressed.

As a result, please be aware of the following arrangements for tomorrow:

🥣 There will be NO Breakfast Club.

🥪 ALL pupils will need to bring a packed lunch to school.

The safety of our pupils and staff is always our priority, and we apologise for the inconvenience these temporary arrangements may cause.

Dosbarth 12 are off to a flying start! ⭐️

Today, our Year 5 pupils created bookmarks to use in their chosen class books and then put their maths skills to use with some engaging games. Pupils solved practical problems, measured their height, constructed 3D shapes and even started learning how to play sudoku!

‼️ Colour Run Postponed ‼️

Unfortunately we have had to postpone our Colour Run, which was due to take place tomorrow, due to the weather conditions. We will share a new date with families as soon as possible.

Pupils should attend school in their usual uniform tomorrow. We sincerely apologise for the late notice and any inconvenience caused, and thank you for your understanding and continued support. ❤️

Just a reminder that blazer days for both Year 5 and Year 6 are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this year. Pupils may wear their school sports kit on Thursdays and Fridays.

We are really looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils and families back to Pantysgallog tomorrow! ❤️

Please see the poster below for information regarding our entry and exit points for the 2026/2027 academic year.

We kindly ask all families to familiarise themselves with the arrangements before arriving. Staff will be available to help direct you if needed.

What better way to start the new school year than with our annual Colour Run! 🌈

Our Colour Run will take place on Thursday 3rd September. Pupils are asked to:

👕 Wear a white T-shirt
🥽 Bring sunglasses or goggles to wear during the Colour Run

The Colour Run is also a sponsored event. Sponsorship forms will be sent home with pupils on their first day back for those who would like one. Any money raised can be brought into school during the first week back.
