Dosbarth Miss. Warren - What a wonderful introduction to Year 4/5 this week - the children have settled beautifully, brought great energy to the classroom, and made our first few days together an absolute joy. 🥜 Nut-Free School Reminder 🥜

A quick reminder to all parents and carers that Gwaunfarren Primary School is a nut-free school. This includes nuts, nut products and nut spreads, such as peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut spread.

We have children in school with severe allergies, and even a tiny amount can cause a serious reaction.

🏫 School Holiday Improvements

While the children have been enjoying their summer break, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting Gwaunfarren ready for the new school year!

Over the holidays, we’ve made a number of improvements to our school environment:

🎨 External Painting – the outside of the school has been freshly painted, giving the building a much-needed refresh.

🚰 New Classroom Sinks & Units – all classrooms have had new sinks and units installed, improving our learning spaces and providing better facilities for pupils and staff.

🔐 Improved Gate Security – we’ve upgraded the magnetic locking systems on our school gates, further strengthening the security and safeguarding of our site.

A huge amount of work has taken place over the summer, and we’re really pleased with the improvements. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back and seeing the children enjoying their refreshed school environment.

We can’t wait to see everyone back at Gwaunfarren! ❤️
