Trinity Childcare and Family Centre is an award winning inclusive childcare setting situated in the village of Aberfan, approximately 4 miles from the centre of Merthyr Tydfil. This unique setting is that of a formally purpose built nursery school boosting fantastic resources and facilities including the outside play area where your child can have the freedom to enjoy the experiences of a safe, stimulating and exciting environment. It has two very large, spacious, colourful well resourced play rooms which ensure all children access age and stage appropriate resources and play areas. We offer childcare to children from the age of 7 weeks to 12 years through a range of services which include, Flying Start, Full and Part time day care, Preschool, 'Wrap Around', Breakfast Club, After School Club, Holiday Club, Open Access Play Scheme, School runs, 'Outreach Crèche' facilities across Merthyr, supporting the parenting programmes as well as Parent and Toddler groups. We have extensive knowledge and experience of working with multi-agencies and are a key partner in the Communities First Southern Cluster delivery plan. We believe your childs early years in life is important and aim to provide the best childcare within Merthyr Tydfil which means happy children, happy parents! Work has started on transforming a large part of our garden area which will include, a ‘well-being’ area, gardening / growing area and a much needed upgraded play area. Watch this space as the transformation takes place…..
