For the final time tomorrow the FOYYG team will be set up in the yard for the children finishing class for the summer holidays.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support across the events and we hope we can put a little smile on the children's faces as they strut their way into the summer holidays! 🥳🥳🥳

🌞🌞 What an outstanding afternoon for a fun run. 🌞🌞

We think the children enjoyed the water pistols as a little bit of fun. Apologies to any adults that were caught in the cross-fire, albeit quite refreshing 💦

A few highlights of the day:
🤣 A giant fairy legging it across the field in the Year 5 run 🧚‍♀️💨
🤣 Ms Kaya trying to outpace some very determined youngsters armed with water pistols 🔫💦
🤣 And the thorough soaking of Coach Kath who was coordinating the youngsters at the finish 💦💦💦💦💦💦

The FOYYG team will be retailing colourful glasses, ribbons and windmills to brighten up the run. Along with a selection of snacks, drinks and ice-lollies to help you cool down too😎.

Bring your brightest clothes, your smiles and cheers as we support our children around the course 🙌🏼

If you have any old or empty pens at home or in the office, please drop them into our collection box at reception before the end of school this Friday.

🌟 A huge thank you to some incredible local children who recently made their own lemonade from scratch, set up a stall on their street, and raised an amazing £80 - which they then generously donated to FOYYG! 🍋💛

A special shout-out to Roma, Keira, Reese, Myah, Millie, Jack and Mia for their hard work, kindness and generosity. It takes a lot of effort to plan, make and sell lemonade, and we're so grateful that they chose to donate every penny they raised to support our school community.

You should all be very proud of yourselves – what a fantastic example of teamwork, community spirit and kindness. Thank you! 👏🍋⭐

Only two more Frozen Fridays before the end of term and tomorrow is going to be another hot one! 🌞

As long as it doesn't get too hot, the FOYYG volunteers will be in the yard at 3 PM serving up some cooling lollies and drinks for the journey home.
