Congratulations to all those students who graded today at The Dojo MerthyrTydfil. There was a mix of beginners and advanced, proud of each and every student for putting in 100% effort. Gradings conducted by Master Peter Davies 7th Dan and Sensei Lyn Edwards 3rd Dan CFS.

Classes, strictly age 15 and over are every Thursday night at 6pm at The Dojo with Sensei Ross Sullivan and Sensei Roy Bailey and Sensei Lana Hassan.

The Dojo Merthyr Tydfil has its first qualified female instructor Sensei Lana Hassan. Well done you with passing your instructorship. We are all very proud you. Welcome to our Instructor Family. Lana has continually trained with us since she was 6 years old, her dedication and commitment is proof that it's not how tough you are that makes you a Black belt, or how many competitions entered and trophies won, if you follow your path 100% with commitment and consistency you can achieve any goal.
Lana will be looking to run her own classes soon. Watch this space!

Announcement, The Dojo has moved to hopefully it's new permanent location (I've said that before) we are still in Pant industrial unit, next door to Balloon Artistry.

Congratulations to all students of The Cwmaman Kickboxing Club who this weekend held their first grading under the BFKKO. Club Instructor Sensei Steve James conducted an all day grading at The Dojo Merthyr Tydfil. The panel also consisted of Master Davies 7th Dan and Sensei Owen Williams 4th Dan. Great first grading high standard was shown by all, well done and keep up your commitment and dedication training.

I want to post this which shows over 20 years plus of teaching plus high lighting those students who reached Black Belts and those who have continued to go further with achieving higher Dan's, but what I am proud of is that 14 of those on the board are still very active in Martial Arts and continue to progress within the Dojo as students and Instructors. Thank you to those who committed and gained your Dan grade under me, and special shout out to those Dan grades still Training.
