Wado-Kai Karate club @ Dowlais Engine House is run by senior instructor Ryan Galeozzi 5th Dan The club teaches ‘Traditional Karate'.
A well established and successful karate club with many years of experience. Affiliated to the Wado-Kai Karate Union (WKKU), the Welsh Karate Governing Body (WKGB) which in turn provides affiliation to the British Karate Federation (BKF). Classes are on Tuesday & Thursday and cater for students from beginner to advanced levels. We have a team of experienced and qualified instructors and all have clean DBS checks (formerly CRB), First Aid Cerification and Child Protection training.

Session is running tonight but will be modified due to the temperature. Students are welcome to wear a T-shirt for training tonight but still wear the gi bottoms and your belt. Bring plenty of fluids to drink

As well as doing traditional karate we try and mix things up. So we try and train defending and attacking multiple opponents and different angles of attack
