Okay, so when I worked in fitness and was on the gym floor, I could clock up 15,000–20,000 steps without even thinking about it.
Fast forward to a tutoring job, where it was pretty easy to get between 7,000–10,000 a day. And if I wanted to get a few more in, I had to make a little bit of an effort.
I mean… not a massive effort. Probably about a 3/10 effort. 😂
But fast forward to today. New job. And this time, it’s not a job in fitness. It’s a proper grown-up teaching job.
Got to 3pm, checked my watch…
1,500 STEPS. 😳
So guess what? I’m with you guys. Just keeping it real over here.
I have now got to make a proper 8/10, possibly 9/10 effort to get out and be active.
And do you know what? You HAVE to make an effort.
Nothing comes easy. If you want to stay fit and healthy, sometimes you’ve got to get off your arse and go and do it.
Health, like everything else, is a case of you get out what you put in.
Now… where are my trainers? Because I also wore normal clothes today too….
