So, thats the first half of summer term finished, reflecting back it’s been a great opportunity to see the growth that has taken place, all of the little ones that joined us in January have progressed and settled into preschool life amazingly well and our bigger children have shown such progression and independence that we can see how ready and confident they are for leaving us in July. We could not be prouder of each and every one of them😍

Said by the amazing Sir David Attenborough, who celebrated his 100th birthday today.
Another fun filled few weeks at preschool, lots of fun in the sun with sand, water, play dough and spotting a little blue tit going into our preschool bird box. 🐦

A lovely end to a very busy spring term - thank you to all our amazing parents and carers who joined us for our Easter stay and play today. We are so lucky to have such great support and hope you enjoyed the activities you completed.

Over the last few weeks we have taken part in so many different learning experiences and enjoyed all of them, huge thanks go especially to Boogie Beat music and movement Banstead and East Surrey, Kicks Dance Reigate & Redhill and Merstham Library for lots of fun times.

Have a great Easter with your families and we will see you all in two weeks where we look forward to seeing the amazing Easter Bonnets you will have made with your children.

Physical play is a very broad area of a child’s development, this week we have seen some fantastic gross motor skills in the garden, where we rode bikes, climbed the stairs on the slide and ran around carefully negotiating obstacles, we also saw lots of fine motor skills for example using pencils, scissors, glue sticks to mark make,and some amazing hand and eye co-ordination with threading activities and transferring small bears with tweezers! Well done everyone 👏👏
