Words I’d use to describe an hour with Grace… funny, laughter, focused, hugs, chatting, questions & bewilderment! 😂 I love it!

Video analysis… for a 5yo! 😂

The children crowded around my phone to watch this video of Teddy to help him get it in the hole better next time

The 1st Original’s Golf Day! Back in 2011, I launched my junior coaching groups. There were around 8 in the very first group I delivered. Of those 8, 7 stuck with me for 10 years+ until they were no longer children 🙄

On Sunday (more or less exactly 15 years on) we held an ‘originals’ golf day. It was so much fun! Hearing about what they’re up to in life, jobs, university was so cool! All the banter came right back and they loved it!

I wonder who I coach now I will still be in touch with once they ‘fly the nest’ and start their big boy or girls lives 🤔

Look forward to the next one brameld Miles Pegg .5

Well being back with the groups has been great fun! 6 weeks off and, like a lot of the children, I’ve been itching to get going again!

Loved watching Darcy line up her putt. She started playing golf a while back, simply to spend time with her mate. 2 years on, Darcy still comes every week, she’s made some new friends & is certainly growing to love the game 🥳

There’s so much more to junior coaching than just coaching children ‘the basics…’ this is what I’ve been up to this week

Creating an enjoyable & playful environment for children 12 & under with games, skills and play on the course. Everyone is looked after, allowing children to express themselves by making their own games, playing with lots of other children all whilst having our amazing leaders as role models 👌

For many, group environments aren’t suitable and they need a little extra 121 support. I’ve introduced golf to many for the first time. Showing them what golf has to offer, hopefully going away with an excitement to play and find out more

Individual coaching sessions for those who have the drive to become great golfers! Gently nudging them in the right direction to improve their techniques & practice routines, all whilst using sensible and realistic process goals
