Piano Teacher Job in Ticehurst, immediate start. 🎹 😀

We are seeking a Piano Teacher to join our music school in providing high-quality piano lessons to students from 6 years upwards and adults.
Teacher required on Wednesday evenings from 4pm onwards and/or Saturday mornings 9am-2pm (with flexibility to your preference).
You must have your own transport & live/work within 45 mins of Ticehurst East Sussex

This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for music and inspire students in their musical journey. We also provide teacher training for the right candidate, so get in touch if you play piano to a very good standard and want to start your teaching career.

Duties
- Conduct engaging and interactive piano lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Instruct students on music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques
- Prepare students for music exams, recitals, and competitions
- Develop personalised lesson plans to enhance student learning and progress
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to motivate students
- Maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment
Requirements
- Proficiency in playing the piano with a strong musical background
- Previous experience teaching piano lessons is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with students of diverse ages and abilities
- A passion for music education and inspiring others through teaching

Applicants must have their own transport and live within 45 minutes from Ticehurst East Sussex. We are in a rural location, but in a busy village very close to the A21.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Benefits: On-site parking
Schedule: Wednesday evenings and/or Saturday mornings.
