Meopham Mini Artists Home Ed classes: Mondays and Tuesdays. Art and Messy Playgroup: Wednesdays. Hi, I'm Catherine, mum of two girls and part time teacher.

I have been running Meopham Mini Artists since March 2018. I also do private parties, children's art workshops, collaborative family workshops with other businesses, and online art and craft videos/workshops. I have also done some private tuition for primary aged children focussing on art. I am a fully qualified secondary school art teacher since 1998. I currently teach primary aged children in a

What a wonderful morning spent with the children and their adults creating these koi fish mixed media paintings. They all turned out so beautifully and all so individual! Some children even had time to create a miniature canvas painting too! A really lovely summer workshop! Well done everyone who came along!!

Amazing creations made today by the children at the HAF programs art and crafts workshops, at Temple Hill school and at Riverview school. Thanks to for having me again. As always it has been wonderful working with you and the children.

Art class for home educated children. As you can see from the photos we do a very wide variety of styles inspired by artists and cultures, using a large range of art materials and techniques in both 2D and 3D. This engaging class is taught by myself, a fully qualified teacher, with art being my specialist subject. I have taught in schools for 29 years, several of those years being in a SEN school. This particular home ed class has been running successfully for over three years. Class sizes are small and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. PAYG is available as well as termly bookings. For home educated children, a Zoology class with hands on learning activities. If your child loves animals then this is the class for them! Last term we focussed on rainforest animals. Next term we will focus on animals from the continent of Asia. Such a fun class, taught by myself, a fully qualified teacher with 29 years experience including several years teaching in a SEN school. Classes for home educated children.
I’m a fully qualified teacher with 29 years experience. I have taught in all key stages and have several years experience teaching in a SEN school. I first started Meopham Mini Artists in 2018 with messy play classes and I have been teaching Home Ed classes for over three years.
Classes sell out fast and I am fully booked for Geography/History and Science.
There are currently some spaces in Art and Zoology.
Book the 6 week term at £10 per lesson, or, book individual lessons at £12.50 per lesson.
Lessons always include hands on, practical learning activities.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of doing an Art workshop with the year 1s and 2s at Trotisscliffe Church of England Primary School. The children were amazing and the staff were too. As you can see we worked collaboratively on an ‘Under the Sea’ themed mixed media piece. The children did printing with polytiles and various other textures onto two large sheets of fabric. They mixed their own paint colours and had a great time experimenting with the printmaking. They also collaged some fabrics and wool to make waves and seaweed. They all worked so well together and enjoyed the process.
I absolutely love working with children in this way. They learn so much through the process of working together and using a variety of techniques and skills. Thank you so much for inviting me to do this today.
