Ever played “how close can you get?” 🐦

One of our instructors’ favourite games on the water - creeping up on a cormorant perched on a buoy without spooking it off. It looks like a bit of fun (and it is!) but it’s actually about teaching some of the most important skills in powerboating: reading tidal flow, precise boat control, and the art of going slow and steady.

Nature’s way of checking your throttle control. 10/10 control here, top marks 😎

Meet the team: Bedwyr (or Beds, as we all call him)!

If you've phoned or emailed to book a course, chances are you've already spoken to him. Beds is our go-to when it comes to knowing our courses inside out - he'll take the time to understand your level, ability and teaching style, then match you with the instructor who's just right for you.

He also works on the Anglesey Boat Trips side of the business and helps keep the day-to-day running of Seawake ticking over. We’d be lost without him!
