Just realised that I haven't posted on here for a while! I have still been busy making bits and pieces, had a short break to Wales last week and took some of my favourite inspiration along with me, including book, vintage fabrics, sewing kits lovingly made for me by Katy and wonderful screenprints by ♡ Also loving my new mini suitcase purchase to store my latest projects in ♡

Today would have been Sam's oldest son's 20th birthday. Instead he is 8 years old forever, lost suddenly and tragically to a rare form of leukaemia in 2007. Tonight you are invited to celebrate his life and his legacy at .space from 6-8pm. This is free but suggested donations of £10 per person would be very gratefully received and will be donated to the Marine Conservation Society in Joe B's memory. There will be a short yoga/meditation practice, some yummy food and hopefully a very friendly warm atmosphere in which to celebrate Joe's life ♡ Hope that you can come along. Today is our last class before a break for summer ... we are making jumbo 3D letters, mini covered journals and decopatch objects! Fun!

It's been an exciting few months at the creative art classes on Tuesdays at The Dice Cup in Nottingham, today will be the last session before a well-deserved 2 week break for everyone. Hoping to meet some new faces on our return to classes on Tuesday 4th July. Please do get in touch if you're interested :-)

Well, I can't actually post a pic of what we did in Wednesday's class because it was a super secret super awesome Mother's Day card BUT 3 of the young creatives began their Artist Trading Cards swap this week - each young creative has made a set of 10 original art cards and we are swapping with each other! Who knows ... One day when some of my lovely young creatives are famous artists then their cards will be super collectable! 😉 In the meantime, this was a fantastic individual project with collaborative elements! 😀

Today's creative classes at The Dice Cup. I was so busy guiding and enjoying the class that i didn't get many photos! Whoops! Much creativity though - another handmade book, 2 sets of Artist Trading Cards and the start of Junk Journals happened in today's 2 hour class!
