Animal Care in Action! 🦅
When a sparrowhawk found itself stuck inside one of our buildings earlier this week, our Curriculum Head for Animal Management, Sam, came to the rescue!

Thanks to Sam's expertise, care and quick thinking, the bird was safely guided to freedom and was able to continue its journey unharmed.

Moments like these highlight the real-world skills, knowledge and passion for animal welfare that are at the heart of our Animal Studies courses and lecturing team!

Continuing the family legacy! 🌟
We were thrilled to meet Roger Dixon and his granddaughter, Ella, at college enrolment today.

Both Roger and his late brother studied with us in the late 1950s, where they learned about all things Agriculture, Horticulture, Machinery and Estate Management.

Now, Ella looks forward to continuing her family’s farming legacy by studying her Agriculture qualification right here at Brooksby. Better yet, Ella will be one of the very first students to learn in our brand-new Agri-Tech Centre!

We hope you have a brilliant time studying with us, Ella! 🚜

A special well done to Isabella Thorpe, who passed both her Maths and English GCSEs alongside her Level 2 Animal Care course, bringing her one step closer to her dream of becoming a Veterinary Nurse.

Congratulations to Evie Cumberland on achieving a Merit in her T Level Media course!

During her studies, Evie developed valuable communication and technical skills while gaining hands-on experience with cameras and industry-standard software. She also made great friendships and enjoyed getting creative with the latest technology.

As she prepares for her next adventure and plans to travel, we wish her every success for the future.

Today we celebrated the achievements of more than 2,000 students across Brooksby College, Loughborough College, Stephenson College and IGNITE Performing Arts.

From exceptional T Level and vocational success to a 95% A Level pass rate, our students have shown incredible dedication, resilience and ambition.
