A New Chapter 🌟

As we prepare to reopen next week, we want to wish all of our children who have left us the very best as they take their next big step and start school this week. 🎓💛 We are so proud of each and every one of you and will miss you all so much!

We are also looking forward to welcoming back all the children who are returning to us after the summer break. We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures and see your happy faces again! 🥰

And finally, a very warm welcome to all our new families and children who will be joining us. We are so excited to meet you and begin this new journey together. 💕🌈

We reopen on Tuesday 1st September, and we are looking forward to a wonderful new term filled with fun, learning, laughter and lots of special memories.

Here’s to new beginnings and another fantastic year at the nursery! 🌟💖

A reminder that we close tomorrow for our half-term break. We look forward to welcoming you all back week commencing Monday 1st June.

We hope you all have a lovely week and enjoy the warm weather we are expecting. Please send in any photos of the activities you do over half term to tapestry for us to share and talk about with your children when we return. 😊

The children at our Norman Way setting enjoyed a visit this morning from Melton Police. We learnt all about how they help us, what to do if we get lost , the number we need to call for help and what equipment they use. 👮
The Rangers and Troupers were also able to have a go in the police car and see the flashing lights and sirens!🚓🚨

Tomorrow 27th March is our last day of term.
We would like to wish all of a families a Happy Easter. We hope you enjoy the holidays and look forward to seeing you when we return week commencing 13th April 😊

Today at our Norman Way setting we had a visit from ‘Sarah’ the chicken. We learnt lots about Sarah, where she lives, what she likes to eat and that she lays one egg everyday! The children were all very curious and some were even brave enough to stroke her and feel her soft feathers 🐓

World book day 2026 📚

What fun we have all had today exploring and celebrating the awe and wonder that stories and books bring us! The children at our Norman Way setting dressed up as their favourite character and brought in their favourite books to share 💛

How lucky were we to have these special visitors at our Swallowdale setting today lambs ‘ Barry’ and ‘ Toast ’.
The children got to have an up close and hands on experience with the 1 week old lambs.
Special thanks to March House Farm for giving the children such a great experience. 🐑

Yesterday at our Swallowdale setting we had a visit from Freya and Sue from The Bupa dental practice.
They spoke to the children about oral
hygiene, showed them how to brush their teeth , played a game about timing and brushing teeth and even gave all of the children a goody bag to take home. What a great interactive learning experience! 🦷🪥

A visit to the Library 📖📚

A group of our Trouper children took a trip out on the walking rope to the Library.

As they walked through the town they talked about the different shops and market stalls they could see and all about the different jobs that people have such as a florist and a baker 🌷🍞

At the Library they joined the ‘Super Sparkle’ group where the adult led stories and acted them out to the group using lots of different props and music 🎶

The children demonstrated great listening skills and audience participation 👏🏼🌟
