I first came to know of Baby Sensory when I took my daughter, Darcey, when she was four months old. We both fell in love instantly with the classes, which soon became the highlight of our week. Stimulation and development for Darcey, and for me, interaction with other parents. Every week was different and everything was so beautiful. It was like no other class we had been to. When my husband and I decided to move back to my home town of Holmfirth, I soon realised that there were no classes nearby. However this gave me cause to think maybe this was the career change I had been looking for. After going through the necessary channels and training, I am now the very proud owner of my own Baby Sensory business. I have come to this world through being a mum myself and I have seen first-hand the benefits and pleasure that Baby Sensory can bring to parent and baby. I am SO excited to be able to bring the classes to the Huddersfield area and I look forward to meeting all the Huddersfield parents and babies.

I have something super exciting to share with you all.

I have joined The Kirkwood team to trek across the Great Wall of china next year. I can’t tell you how thankful and excited I am that I’m able to take part in this amazing challenging.

After spending the start of summer at the Kirkwood whilst they cared for my aunty, I experienced first hand what a truly special place this is. I knew at some point in the future I wanted to be able to give back to this amazing hospice. So the Great Wall of china feels like the perfect way to showcase all they do and raise all important funds so they can continue to care and support families when we need it the most.

I haven’t set my fundraising page up yet. I was just so excited I wanted to tell you all, ha! But once it’s all set up and will post the link in my bio. I will be sharing lots though as I train and prepare for our 9 day trek.
