✨ Did you know? Babies can communicate long before they can talk! ✨

One of the wonderful things about Sing and Sign is that it gives babies another way to express themselves while their speech is still developing.

Research suggests that using simple signs alongside spoken language can:
👶 Help babies communicate their wants and needs before they can say the words.
💛 Reduce frustration for both babies and parents by making communication clearer.
🧠 Encourage responsive, back-and-forth interactions between parent and baby, which are known to support early language development.
🎵 Make learning language fun through songs, repetition, eye contact and play.

There is good evidence that signing supports early communication, strengthens parent–baby interaction, and does not delay speech development. (University of Hertfordshire)

At Sing and Sign, we use music, songs, instruments, props and simple signing to create opportunities for communication from the very earliest months. Watching a baby’s face light up when they sign “more” or “milk” for the first time is magical! ❤️

Specials will be mixed ages and for babies 6-24 months. Families with no experience of Sing and Sign are very welcome.

The session will be an hour and a quarter to allow for more social time after class, including extra toys and books for the little ones. You will learn lots of animal signs through lots of fun and catchy songs!

An additional adult or siblings are welcome for a small charge (you can select this under 'additional items!'). If you require an extra adult and also an extra sibling please do book another place for these.

The session will include some Sing and Sign favourites, but also we will new Summer themed songs and signs. You will learn some signs to help your little one understand the different experiences and over the Summer period.
