What a week! 💚🎭✨

Our Matilda Summer School 2026 has officially come to an end and we have had the BEST time!

Three days full of dancing, singing, crafts, games, laughter, new friendships and lots of Matilda magic! 📚🍫 We have loved watching everyone get involved, grow in confidence and, most importantly, have so much fun together.

A huge THANK YOU to every child who joined us and to all of our parents for supporting another wonderful summer school. We hope they came home each day with very happy (and very tired! 😂) faces.

We’re taking a little summer break now, apart from our adult classes and the occasional private lesson, but don’t worry… plans for Summer School 2027 are already underway! 👀☀️

Our Little Stars Toddler Dance Class is the perfect way to introduce your child to the magic of music and movement in a relaxed, friendly environment.

⏰ 9:30am – 10:00am
💷 Just £5 PAYG – no termly commitment!
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents, grandparents and childcare givers are all welcome to join in.

Expect plenty of music, movement, ribbons, lights, imagination and smiles as you bond, move and giggle together! 🌟

Melksham School of Dance Having operated for the past four decades, Melksham School Of Dance is an experienced and professional family-run dance school situated in close proximity to the Pig and Whistle pub in Melksham.

🎉 Happy 60th Birthday to our wonderful Principal, Mrs Green! 🎉

Today we are celebrating the amazing Mrs Green as she turns 60… although we’re not quite sure how, because she certainly doesn’t look it! 💐💖

Mrs Green has dedicated so much of her life to teaching, inspiring and supporting generations of dancers, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her leading our dance school family.

What a fantastic week we’ve had in London! 🇬🇧

We’re so excited to announce that we’ve successfully completed the Royal Academy of Dance Musical Theatre Teacher Training Course! 🎭✨

This means Melksham School of Dance will be one of the first dance schools to introduce the brand-new RAD Musical Theatre syllabus to our students!

We’re incredibly proud to be bringing this exciting new programme to our school, giving our pupils even more opportunities to develop their performance, acting, singing and dance skills through the world-renowned Royal Academy of Dance.

A huge thank you to the Royal Academy of Dance for an inspiring week of learning alongside so many passionate teachers. We can’t wait to bring everything we’ve learned back to the studio.

✨ RAD Ballet Exam Results Are In! ✨

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have received the results from our Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of our dancers!

🌟 100% Pass Rate! 🌟

An incredible achievement that reflects their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to all of our pupils, and thank you to our wonderful parents for your continued support. We are so proud of you all! 💙
