It’s back to school time soon. A member of our congregation has started a school shoe fund to help any local families struggling with the cost of living. We will be working with St Mary’s school & pre school. Please speak to the school or message us in confidence for more information - or if you or someone you know could benefit 👟 You do not need any connection the chapel or church to apply for this - it is open to anyone in our local community 💙

School community rally for Venezuela after earthquake
A village primary school has rallied behind a local parent’s efforts to collect vital aid for Venezuela, following a devastating double earthquake.
St Mary’s Primary School in Broughton Gifford collected items to support parent Francisco Mora, who is Venezuelan and has an auntie and grandmother still living in the country.
Venezuela was struck by a deadly twin earthquake on 24th June that reached a 7.5 magnitude. Over 2,000 people have been killed, with thousands more injured and tens of thousands reported missing.

Goodbye and good luck to our fabulous Year 6’s.
A poignant and emotional church service was followed by shirt signing, a wacky fancy dress obstacle race, an awesome colour run and a very wet game of human battleship, before the whole school community cheered our boys out of the gates for the final time today.
We will miss you all!
Keep shining those lights brightly, keep being the wonderful individuals that you are and showing the world what you are made of!
St Mary’s is so proud of you 💙⭐️💫

St Mary’s was rocking yesterday morning as our fabulous iRock School of Music bands performed their end of year concert 🎶 🎸
It was so wonderful for us all to see the progress made through the last year, not only in musical terms but the confidence, commitment and communication these children displayed was phenomenal.
Parents, staff and children watched on proudly as every single child on the stage gave it their absolute all, whether it was drums, guitar, keyboard or vocals.
Thank you to our amazing iRock teacher Max, for giving the children, the confidence, skills and support to not only work together as a musical team but perform in front a big audience.
You absolutely rock St Mary’s 🎸🤩✌️😎
