Baby Room Leader

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Baby Room Leader to join our growing team. You will lead the baby room, support staff development, ensure high-quality care and learning, and build strong relationships with families.

Requirements:
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Two years Baby room experience preferred
Previous room leader or senior practitioner experience
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
Excellent communication and leadership skills

Baby Room Practitioner

We are looking for enthusiastic Baby Room Practitioners to provide outstanding care and education for children in a nurturing environment.

Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Baby room experience essential
Good understanding of EYFS
Passion for supporting children's learning and development
Team-player with excellent communication skills

Oak Class totally embraced this terms value of Creativity this week, with their own versions of 1940’s Anderson Shelters!

Their history topic this term is World War 2 and they were challenged to create their own air raid shelters for this weeks homework and bring to life the reality for families living through this era.

We were blown away by the level of creativity the children used in making them and they are now proudly displayed in the library for everyone to see!

A wonderful morning spent with our Year 6’s at Salisbury Cathedral today, for their annual Leavers Service.

Together with other church schools, we celebrated, reflected and gave thanks for the achievements, joy and friendships these children have embraced during their 7 years of primary school.

We also looked forward to them beginning their journeys onto secondary school and beyond, and the exciting (if a little scary) new opportunities and adventures it will bring for them all ✨

Thank you to Diocese of Salisbury for another beautiful service. We feel very privileged to be part of such a special community ✝️🕯️🌟

A reminder to our families that there is a road closure along The Street in place from tomorrow until 10th June. If you are coming in from Melksham, the only route to school is Church End or Mill Lane.

Traffic will undoubtedly be a lot busier that end of the village, especially at drop off times, so please all be mindful and careful.

We love our Playpod from Wiltshire Scrapstore & Resource Centre 😍.

Every child was happy, engaged and wonderfully creative this lunchtime, building dens, forts and obstacle courses, using equipment from our Playpod in the beautiful sunshine ☀️🌳

Even the adults were so involved we forgot to ring the bell for end of play 😆 🔔

In pairs the children took iPads around our beautiful school grounds yesterday and took the most amazing photographs.

They then worked together to use the editing technology to enhance and adapt their images.
