ππ Giving every child the very best start to school.
We are delighted to be providing all new Reception starters across our primary schools with a Transition Bag as they prepare for this exciting next step in their educational journey.
Filled with informative leaflets, a storybook, creative resources and activities to enjoy at home, the bags are designed to support children and families before they start school, helping young learners build confidence and develop key skills. Over 1,000 bags will be distributed across our schools for our September Reception Staters.
At The White Horse Federation, we are committed to giving every child the very best start in life and believe that strong partnerships between home and school are key to helping children thrive from day one.

Last week, Year 6 shared their production of Matilda with their parents and the rest of the school. They performed beautifully with some phenomenal acting and singing, some blew us away with their natural performing talent. Well done Year 6 and thank you to Year 5 for being their choir.

What a fantastic Sports Day! ππββοΈπββοΈ
Despite the hot weather last Friday, our pupils showed incredible determination, resilience and enthusiasm throughout the day. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best, cheering each other on and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship in every event. Whether competing, supporting teammates or encouraging friends, every child should be proud of their efforts.
A huge well done to all of our participants and a big thank you to the staff, PTA and our families for helping to make the day such a success! Miss Deedigan π

On Wednesday, the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in their Taekwon-Do workshops with Grand Master Don Deedigan. Throughout the sessions, they learned the importance of respect, self-discipline, and listening carefully to instructions, while also developing their confidence and teamwork skills. They showed great enthusiasm and determination during the workshops and were proud of the new skills they had learned. During the session, Miss Deedigan also re-created a photo with her father from her own school days!

On Tuesday, Reception class made their way to Bournemouth BeachποΈ
They had a wonderful time making sandcastles, hiding their lunches from the sneaky seagulls, dipping their toes in the sea, and finishing the day with an ice cream.
Their behaviour was amazing, and they represented our school brilliantly. We are so proud of how well they behaved and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the trip.
It was a fantastic day full of fun, laughter, and memorable experiences for everyone involved!
