On Tuesday, Reception class made their way to Bournemouth BeachπŸ–οΈ

They had a wonderful time making sandcastles, hiding their lunches from the sneaky seagulls, dipping their toes in the sea, and finishing the day with an ice cream.

Their behaviour was amazing, and they represented our school brilliantly. We are so proud of how well they behaved and the enthusiasm they showed throughout the trip.

It was a fantastic day full of fun, laughter, and memorable experiences for everyone involved!

On Monday, it was Year 1/2's turn to visit Netherstreet Farm and the children had the best day! They enjoyed seeing the cows, exploring the fields, and jumping in lots of muddy puddles. The children even had the chance to sit in the tractors and spent the day feeling like true farmers. Everyone had a wonderful time learning about life on the farm. Well done Year 1/2, for being so enthusiastic and representing the school brilliantly on a fantastic school trip!

Year 6 attended their Leaver’s Service at Salisbury Cathedral this week. The children paraded their banner, shared our values, sung hymns and reflected on their time at The Manor. It was a lovely start to the Year 6 celebrations this term; the children displayed all of our school values beautifully throughout the day.

Yesterday some of our Year 5s competed in an inter-trust netball tournament at Forest and Sandridge Primary School.

They gave it their all and had a fantastic time, winning half their matches.

Well done to those involved!

Year 6 had a great morning at Junior Good Citizen on Friday.

They learnt about Road Safety, how to be model citizens when they are older, the age of responsibility with the law and even what a prison cell looks like.

All the children learnt a lot and are ready to take the next step to becoming a young citizen in the local area.

On Wednesday, Rundell Class went to Stratford on Avon to visit Tudor World. During their visit, they explored the Plague, Tudor medicine, life on a ship, crime and punishment as well as sword fighting. Once the rain had stopped, the class had a walking tour of the town, a highlight being a visit to the home of William Shakespeare. A wonderful day was had by all!

Year 4 finished the term by going on a fantastic trip to Salisbury Cathedral. They learned about King John and how the Magna Carta had come about, before having a tour of the Cathedral and actually seeing the Magna Carta. After a picnic lunch in the glorious sunshine, the children finished their day by making their own replica shields. It was a great day out and Year 4’s behaviour was exemplary.
