🎒📚 Giving every child the very best start to school.

We are delighted to be providing all new Reception starters across our primary schools with a Transition Bag as they prepare for this exciting next step in their educational journey.

Filled with informative leaflets, a storybook, creative resources and activities to enjoy at home, the bags are designed to support children and families before they start school, helping young learners build confidence and develop key skills. Over 1,000 bags will be distributed across our schools for our September Reception Staters.

☀️ End of Year Treat! 🍦🏴‍☠️

A huge thank you to our amazing FOSS PTA for treating all our children to a fantastic end-of-year celebration!

The children had a brilliant time with SuperPirates - imaginative games, teamwork and plenty of laughter. It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun together!

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream🍦

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another fantastic school year. Thank you, FOSS, for making it so special!

They have shown kindness, courage, resilience, and joy throughout their time with us, and we couldn’t be prouder.

As we wrap up the academic year, The White Horse Federation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible Staff, Students, and Parents. Your support and commitment have been at the heart of everything we've accomplished this year.

We're so proud of everything we've achieved together, from classroom successes to community celebrations. By supporting one another, embracing new opportunities, and celebrating success, we've continued Inspiring Lives across our schools every day.

Today we said goodbye to Mrs. Kettler 🌿

Current staff, families, and former colleagues all came together to celebrate her time with us. It was a lovely chance to stroll down memory lane — with plenty of laughter and a few tears along the way ❤️ Thank you to everyone who sent messages and memories in, all have been shared with Mrs Kettler in a memory book.

We presented her with gifts and a special plaque for 'The Kettler Garden', which we’re excited to announce will be the name of our new garden space. It’s a fitting tribute to her love of gardening and the outdoors, and a lasting reminder of her impact on Seend School 🌼

We wish her all the best in her retirement. She’ll be deeply missed, but she has truly earned this next chapter ✨

🦁🌟 What a Roaring Success! 🌟🦁

Our talented KS2 children truly brought the Pride Lands to life in their spectacular production of The Lion King! 🎭✨

From the incredible acting, singing and dancing 🎤🎶💃 to the colourful costumes and energetic performances 🦓🦒🐘, every child shone on stage and made us immensely proud.

A special thank you to our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to paint faces before the performances. 🎨🖌️ Their amazing work helped transform our children into the characters of the Pride Lands, and they looked absolutely fantastic! 🦁🐯✨

We would also like to thank our dedicated staff, families and supporters for helping make the production such a memorable event. 💛👏

Most importantly, well done to our incredible cast for their hard work, determination and confidence throughout this journey. 🌟 You demonstrated teamwork, creativity and courage, and you truly wowed your audience! 👑🐾

Hakuna Matata! 🎶🦁 We hope everyone enjoyed the show as much as we did and created memories that will last a lifetime.

🌿🦒 Reception & Year 1 Zoo Adventure! 🦍🐻 🦓✨

Our Reception and Year 1 children had an amazing day at Bristol Zoo Project as part of their Science topic on Animals! 🐾🔬

The children loved seeing a variety of incredible animals, including giraffes 🦒, zebras 🦓, lemurs 🐒, crocodiles 🐊, bears 🐻, and gorillas 🦍. They learned lots about different habitats, animal features, and how animals live and survive in the wild.

It was a fun-filled, exciting day packed with learning, exploration, and plenty of smiles! 😄🌟

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful staff and volunteers who helped make the trip so enjoyable and safe for everyone. Your support is greatly appreciated! 🙏💙

🏛️✨ Year 2 & Year 3 Roman Baths Adventure! ✨🏛️

Our Year 2 and Year 3 pupils had a fantastic day visiting the Roman Baths as part of their History topic on the Romans! 📚⚔️

The children stepped back in time to discover what life was like in Roman Britain, exploring the ancient baths and learning about Roman daily life, engineering and culture.

Throughout the day, they enjoyed a range of hands-on activities, including creating their own beautiful Roman mosaics and dressing up as Romans, which brought their learning to life and helped them imagine what it would have been like to live during Roman times.
It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, enthusiasm and excellent behaviour from all of the children. 🤩👏

The trip has helped deepen their understanding of our History curriculum and will inspire lots of exciting learning back in the classroom.
