📚 Happy World Book Day from the team at Achievio!
Today is about celebrating the powerful impact that a genuine love of reading can have on a child’s future, wherever and however they are educated.
Why is a daily reading habit so important for growth?
✨ Vocabulary growth: Regular reading is one of the best ways for children to build a rich and confident vocabulary.
✨ Better learning across subjects: Children who read for pleasure tend to develop stronger skills that support progress in every area of learning.
✨ Thinking skills and confidence: Stories help children understand other people, explore big ideas, and make sense of the world around them.
A gripping adventure, a funny story, or a favourite classic can open up new worlds and support their wellbeing and learning.

It's been a little while since we've posted, but we've been busy doing what we do best — supporting learners who need a different kind of education experience. 🙂
At Achievio, we work with learners aged 4 to 16 across Melksham and Wiltshire. Some come to us for 1:1 Maths or English tutoring. Some are preparing for GCSEs and need focused, calm support. Some have dyslexia or other learning needs that haven't been fully understood in a mainstream setting — and they need a specialist who really gets it.
Whatever the reason, the learners who come through our door share one thing in common: they deserve provision that works for them, not the other way around.
We offer 1:1 tutoring in Maths, English, and Science, specialist dyslexia tuition, and private tutoring for primary and secondary learners. We're also on the WAAP register and work closely with local schools and Wiltshire Council.
If you've been wondering whether Achievio might be right for your child, we'd love to hear from you. A conversation costs nothing — and it's always a good place to start.
