A number of my coaching clients are going through career change just now. Some are being forced to change, as role redundancy looms.
It's hard when we don't initiate this type of change and our confidence can be at an all-time low, just when we need it most!
Finding people to help you through this period is key. Reach out to people who you know and trust to support you, even if you haven't been in touch for a while. You will be surprised who will show up for you and who will be willing to share their network/experiences/time for you.

- Acknowledge this is part of being human and foster self-compassion
- Adopt a growth mindset, we are all learning and none of us are perfect

Short Term Strategies
- Breathe deeply
Paced breathing can help to settle nerves and improve brain function
- Consider your posture
Centred, grounded, strong poses help to embody confidence
- Try muscle firming
Boost your testosterone and therefore your confidence with small muscle tensing moves which you can repeat regularly.

Did you know May is National Walking Month? If you didn't already have a reason to get a walk squeezed into your week then maybe that's a good prompt.

This is your reminder to be your own champion, to find your gentle inner voice, one that celebrates your victories, forgives your mistakes and reminds you of your value because self-compassion isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. ๐บ
