Could you be our new school caretaker?

This is a permanent contract with an immediate start.

Hours - 20 hours per week, 52 weeks per year with 28 days paid holiday entitlement plus bank holidays. This a split shift of 20 hours per week Monday to Friday - 6.40 – 7.40am and 3.15 – 6.15 pm. There is some flexibility with times.

Duties will include:
Lock/unlock the school and carry out security checks on the buildings
Carry out and record statutory checks and help maintain Health and Safety records
Maintain the school property and grounds to a high standard; including leading a small team of cleaning staff and undertaking some cleaning duties
Monitor site stock, order supplies and handle/move deliveries
Carry out DIY and general site work

Salary Scale: SCALE 2 Point: 4 (£23,114 FTE) - @£12,494 a year without overtime.
