🎨 We’ve launched something new…

You might know us for our adult art classes, but we’ve now created a 12-week Art Club just for ages 9–15.

Starting on Nov 2nd at Lawling Park Hall, Mayland this course helps students build confidence while learning drawing and painting step by step.

The full course is £300 for 24 hours of tuition (just £12.50/hour), with all materials included.

🎨✨ Introducing Our New Kids Art Club!

We’re thrilled to launch our brand‑new Kids Club, starting Monday 2nd November, 4.15–6.15pm — a fun, creative space where young artists can explore colour, imagination and confidence.

Each week they’ll dive into different projects, learn new skills, and enjoy making art in a relaxed, supportive environment. Perfect for budding creators who love to draw, paint, make and experiment.

Quite a while ago, I couldn't even draw a stick figure.

Now? I've painted over 40 pieces I'm genuinely proud of.

The single most powerful habit for unlocking creativity you didn't know you had: showing up every week, even when you think you're "not artistic enough."

Here's what nobody tells you about learning art as an adult—it's not about natural talent. It's about consistent practice in a space where mistakes are celebrated and progress is measured in small victories.

Every Wednesday evening at our Dengie studio, someone walks in convinced they can't draw. By week 14, they're framing their work.

🎨✨ Week — Colourful Acrylic Portraits
This week our studio burst into colour as we explored expressive acrylic portraiture, taking inspiration from Portrait Artist of the Year and the vibrant, character‑filled work of Samira Addo.

Students experimented with bold palettes, loose brushwork and confident mark‑making — letting colour do the storytelling. Faces emerged from sweeping strokes, unexpected hues, and joyful layers of paint, each portrait capturing personality in a wonderfully playful way.

It was a week of courage, creativity and embracing the freedom of acrylics. The results were bright, brave and beautifully unique.
