📢 WE’RE HIRING | COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Carrick Rugby Football Club is delighted to be recruiting for a Community Development Officer to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing community projects, building partnerships, securing funding and creating opportunities that make a lasting difference across the communities we serve.

Working alongside our Development Team, Trustees and volunteers, you’ll help strengthen connections across North and South Carrick while supporting projects that have a real and lasting impact on local people.

This post has been made possible through the support of NCCBC and Carrick Futures, whose funding will help us continue to grow opportunities for people of all ages across our communities.

Role Details

📍 North & South Carrick, South Ayrshire
💼 Engagement: Employed or self-employed, depending on the successful candidate and mutual agreement
💷 Competitive salary/rate, dependent on experience and engagement model
🕒 23 hours per week (if employed)
📅 2-year fixed-term contract (subject to funding)

Key Responsibilities

🏉 Develop and deliver community-focused projects.
🤝 Build and strengthen relationships with local partners and stakeholders.
💷 Identify and secure funding opportunities.
🙌 Support volunteers and community initiatives.
🌍 Help grow Carrick RFC’s impact across North and South Carrick.
📊 Monitor, evaluate and report on project outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about community development, enjoys building relationships and wants to make a genuine difference through sport and community engagement.
