September can be an anxious time for both pupils and parents as the school year begins. Adapting to new routines can be tough, especially when transitioning to a new school or beginning GCSE or A level courses. It is crucial that support is in place to develop strong study skills and build confidence.

You may also be nervous that your child is falling behind, especially after the disruptions of the last two years. Tutoring provides personalised support that can revisit areas that have already been worked on or preview new topics so that your child can approach them with greater confidence at school. Now is a perfect time to book some sessions for your child, whether they are preparing for exams or have gaps in their learning. I am always excited to see children flourish as they master new skills and look forward to working with you.

To all of those receiving exam results today: If you have the grades you hoped for - well done! The hard work has paid off and now is the time to celebrate your achievement. If you were disappointed, it's important to remember that your grades do not define your worth. They might disturb your short-term plans but they can also spur you into new directions where you will reach your potential.

Hello, I'm Louise! I am a teacher with twenty years experience in primary and secondary education as a special needs coordinator. I have worked successfully with children of all abilities and I am confident that I can work with your child to build their confidence and release their full potential.
I can provide bespoke support for pupils approaching public exams and have special expertise in working with children with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia and autism.
For students in years 12 and 13, I adopt a coaching approach to develop the study skills that they will need to succeed in higher education. I can also guide them to prepare a strong university application.
